Well North Star are doing Hussite Wars now, and while I have no intention of starting that at this stage, I thought the new Knights looked perfect for Oathmark. So I chucked a pre-order in.
And oh wow, these guys turned up fast! Normally an order from North Star can be expected to take about 14 days to get here, these guys arrived in four.
So, better strike while the iron is hot, I forced a handful into the painting queue and knocked out a quick unboxing and painting video while they are topical!
It’s a great kit. It’ll make a handsome group of Warriors and a couple of characters to boot!
And here’s a comparison to Perry’s Foot Knights. The figures are the same height, but the North Star kit is more heroically proportioned than the more truescale Perry’s. This is especially noticeable in the weapons and visors, but up to you as to how much variation you can tolerate when mixing them!
